INGREDIENTS:
- ½ cup cooked millets (such as foxtail millet or barnyard millet)
- 1 chopped apple/pear
- ½ cup chopped papaya
- ½ cup coconut water or water
- 1 tsp chia seed
- 1 tsp flax seed
- 1 tsp honey or jaggery (optional)
HOW TO MAKE:
In a blender, combine the cooked millets, chopped mango, chopped papaya, coconut water or water, and honey or jaggery (if using).
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Add ice cubes if desired for a chilled smoothie, then blend again until well combined.
Pour into glasses and serve immediately, optionally garnishing with a slice of mango or papaya.
