Ingredients:
- 70g green peas (Matar), boiled and mashed
- 100g paneer grated
- 1/4 cup Rice flour (If needed)
- 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 1/2-inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- 1-2 tsp Ghee for shallow frying
Instructions:
- Prepare the Mixture:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed green peas and grated paneer.
- Add green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, garam masala, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt.
- Gradually add Rice flour (If needed) to the mixture to help with binding.
- Shape the Tikkis:
- Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into small, round patties.
- Repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Cook the Tikkis:
- Heat a non-stick pan with a small amount of ghe for shallow frying.
- Place the tikkis on the pan and cook on medium heat until golden brown on both sides, flipping once.
- Serve:
- Drain any excess ghee on paper towels.
- Serve hot with mint chutney.
