INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup Chawali/ Cowpea
- 1 tbsp yellow moong dal
- 1 cup Methi
- Ghee
- Water as required
- 4-5 Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tsp
- Salt as required
- 1 green Chilli
- 1 tsp Ginger paste
HOW TO MAKE:
Soak the chawali and moong dal overnight
Make a soft batter of it with green chilli.
Once the batter is ready add salt, ginger paste and chopped methi to it.
Whish it well and pour in a greased dhokla steamer and steam it for 8-9 mins and keep it aside.
Meanwhile prepare a tadka by adding ghee in a pan, then add jeera, mustard seeds, hing and curry leaves.
Pour it on steaming hot dhokla and serve the dhokla with green chutney.
