INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1 tbsp unshelled pistachios
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 tsp honey (optional, for added sweetness)
- ½ tsp ground cardamom
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp seed powder or nuts
- 2 tbsp coconut milk or almond milk
- A handful of ice cubes (optional)
- Chopped pistachios for garnish
- Water (If needed)
HOW TO MAKE:
Peel and pit the ripe avocado.
In a blender, combine the ripe avocado, pistachios, plain yogurt, honey (if using), ground cardamom, ground cinnamon, and coconut milk or almond milk and water
If desired, add a handful of ice cubes for a colder and thicker smoothie.
Blend all the ingredients until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, you can add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.
Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.
You can also adjust the amount of cardamom and cinnamon according to your taste preferences.
Pour the avocado pistachio smoothie into glasses.
Garnish each glass with chopped pistachios for added texture and presentation.
Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy goodness!
