INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup White Chickpeas (Soaked and Boiled)
- ½ cup Beans
- ½ cup Carrot
- 1 small Beetroot
- 1 small Tomato
- 1 small capsicum
- 1 medium Onion (Chopped)
- ½ cup Green Peas
- 2-3 Garlic
- 1 Lemon
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds and Cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Ghee for Tadka and for Toasting Sourdough
- 1 Slice of Sourdough
HOW TO MAKE:
Add all the vegetables like Beans, Carrot, Tomato, Capsicum, Beetroot, Green Peas in a pressure cooker along with some water.
Boil the vegetables till you get 2 whistles. Then let the steam come out and open the pressure cooker. Vegetables should be very soft and easily mashable.
Now in a Pan add Ghee let it heat. Add Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, fry for few seconds let them splatter.
Add finely chopped Onion and garlic and fry for 3-4 Mins on medium flame.
Add Spices like Red chilli powder and Pav bhaji masala and Salt. Mix and cook for couple of minutes.
Now add all the boiled veggies to the pan along with boiled chickpeas.
Then mash the Veggies and Chickpeas with the help of the masher or blender.
Add water if needed and simmer for couple of minutes.
Lastly add finely chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice to it.
Side by side toast a sourdough slice.
Your Pav bhaji is ready garnish the Bhaji with finely chopped onion and enjoy!
