INGREDIENTS:
- 1 small Onion, sliced
- 1 small Tomato, chopped
- 1 small Beetroot, finely chopped
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 1 Green chilli, slit
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder to taste
- 1 tsp ghee
HOW TO MAKE:
Soak rice in water for at least half an hour.
Fry cumin seeds in hot ghee; saute onions, green chilli and ginger-garlic paste.Saute tomatoes, salt and all the spices.
Add chopped beetroot and rice.
Add water and let it all cook. Serve hot.
